About Blake Precision Sharpening

I’ve spent most of my life fixing, building, and improving things. I’ve always been drawn to understanding how tools work and how to make them perform the way they should.

After serving in the Marine Corps, I chose to step away from military life to focus on my family. During that time, I developed a deep appreciation for cooking, baking, and working with my hands, especially in the kitchen and the garden. Those experiences reinforced something simple but important, good tools make everyday work safer, easier, and more enjoyable.

Knife sharpening brought those interests together. It’s a skill that requires patience, precision, and consistency, not shortcuts. Over time, I saw how much of a difference properly sharpened knives make, whether in a busy kitchen or at home at the end of a long day. Sharp, dependable tools reduce frustration, improve safety, and make the work flow better.
